Professional Bridal Portraits

dreamy professional closeup bridal portrait with bride's face covered with a veilThey say you’ll never feel or look more glamorous than on your wedding day. We believe that’s true! There is nothing more radiant than a bride all dolled up in her gorgeous gown. It’s not every day you get to wear this attire and look like a princess, so we like to have fun with it!

Whether you’re looking for formal bridal portraits with just your in your beautiful gown or a formal couple’s session with both you and your groom all decked out in your wedding finest, we’ve got you covered. In fact, most of our packages include a complimentary bridal or engagement session you can use any way you want. Most of them include both!

Just because these pre-wedding bridal sessions are “formal” doesn’t mean they have to be stuffy. It just means we get to spend more time together making sure we get the perfect bridal pictures to show off all the glamorous details of your dress and ensemble and how amazing you look and feel in all of it.

Your wedding day is all about you!

We believe everything about your wedding should reflect who you are and how you choose to present yourselves on your special day. Pictures from the bridal photoshoot are almost always the ones our clients choose to print and hang on their wall (and give to Grandma, too!) They are destined to become the treasured keepsakes!

We encourage you to bring some of your favorite bridal picture ideas you’ve gathered and show us what type of things you’d like to include in your own session. We’ll do our best to incorporate them into your session. They will also help us offer even more ideas that can help put your own unique spin on things.

When is the best time to take your bridal pictures?

While you can do do your bridal portraits anytime you want, we recommend doing them 1-2 weeks prior to your wedding day. This not only gives you a trial run for your wedding look, but it also allows you to visit different locations other than your wedding venue to take those perfect shots. It also allows you to spend more time with your photographer to capture those perfect shots that reflect the romance and emotion of your wedding. By doing things in advance, you’ll also have time to create some fabulous prints from this session to display at your reception!

Perhaps one of the best reasons, however, to do a pre-wedding day bridal or couple’s session is you’ll have less stress on your wedding day. We’ve been shooting weddings for many years and can assure you this might just become the best reasons to get your formal bridal portraits or “first look” couple shots ahead of time! Even with detailed planning, the wedding day is often hectic and rushed. Who wants to add more stress to a day that is already full of so many details and people vying for attention?

Wedding Day Bridals

If you choose to do everything on your wedding day, that is cool, too. We understand there are many reasons why this might be the best option for you. Please know, however, that we don’t always have time to do those romantic, dreamy and creative shots you might envision amidst all the other details you’ll want captured.

We also understand that many brides want that first time their sweetheart sees them in their finest attire to be on their actual wedding day. For this reason, many brides choose to do a solo bridal portrait session with just them in their wedding dress and save the couple’s shots for the actual wedding day. We’re here to serve you and do what works best for you.

If you choose to go the wedding day only route, the best time to take your bridal and couple’s portraits is usually between your ceremony and reception. That isn’t always the case, though, especially if you have a wedding luncheon or dinner scheduled during that time. Give us a call and share your wedding plans us. We’ll figure out together what might work best and how to make it happen.
